I must say the only real amazing thing that happened was CODY WON FOR HIS FIRST TIME & HE WON $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes it is true that Cody won the money. Though out the whole main event Daddy and Mrs. Mihoko were talking. Mrs. Mihoko was saying “Go Tye, go Tye, go Tye” On the other hand Daddy was saying “Go Cody Go you can hold him off”. Finally when Cody passed the finish line he picked me up like a baby an said “HE DID IT HE WON HIS FIRST RACE!!” and I just said “its about time”- in fact it’s the perfect time- HE WON $200!!!!!!!!!!!!” If you ask me I think that ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say that yesterday’s race was quite extraordinary. I say that because through out the whole day my dad’s stomach wasn’t feeling too good. Then finally he ran to the bathroom and puked! Thankfully after he did puke he felt good enough to race his animal. Because he was doing double duty he couldn’t race his flathead kart sooooo Thomas Parker drove in the 30 flathead. Although Thomas had to pull off because Mike Parker taped his motor so the engine was over heated so it wouldn’t run well. But before he pulled off he was in 2nd. As for the 18, the 18came in 3rd, which is pretty good considering that there were 11 karts total. And you’d think that my dad would take it easy and most likely wouldn’t win- but what do you know----------HE DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And get this--that isn’t all that he won. His class also had the trophy dash and he gave ME the trophy and he said MY name on the speaker!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the BEST race ever.

October 28, 2006
The night before the race was the night the babies went to their first corn maze. That had got to be the most fun corn maze EVER, but only because we had my TEN year old brother leading the way. Trust me it was TOTTALY exhausting. Finally the next day was race day. The babies’ first race. In the hot laps my dad and Cody both got in second. Both races were great but the tires weren’t they were sooooo muddy, well at least my dads were at least! Cody’s tires weren’t as bad but they were decent enough.
Moving on to the heat races, my dad got second (again) and Cody got in sixth (not as good as getting in second, but it was just the heat races. This time my dad’s tires were decently clean but not the best I’ve ever seen.
Finally it was time for the main event. They did pretty good knowing that because the cold weather the tires didn’t stick to the track like would have wanted it to. My dad’s main was quite interesting because I was trying to help feed Toby (baby A) and watch the race. Although while trying to calm down Toby then trying to burp him I watched my dad almost win and instead come in second, which if you ask me, was pretty cool!
In Cody’s main he wasn’t doing too hot he was all over the track but yet very patient. No matter how confusing the race was he got in fourth out of 9 karts which will do.

Yesterday’s race was actually quite interesting because Cody won the heat race that he had-his only one!! My dad then got in first for his heat. Next was Cody’s main event. For a while Cody wasn’t in first but then in about in the middle of the race he was-wow!!!J Then on just about the next lap or two his pal French from Phoenix passed him and in the end won, with Cody in second. Next it was my dads’ main event he almost was going to win when Rick Spencer spun out my dad-some sportsmanship!!!L He then had to start in last for the restart. With eight drivers my dad passed five and finished the main event in third. After the races when we got the 30 in the trailer it was time to pick up the trophies my brother got a normal sized trophy while my dad got a stubby one.

September 23, 2006
Yesterday’s race wasn’t as cool as most of the other races we go to. Well all of the heat races and hot laps were okay. But then Cody had a trophy dash which is also cool-but the coolest part of the race was that Cody won-but what wasn’t cool was this –the announcer allowed Cody to thank a couple of people (still not so bad) he then thanks my dad (good he’s the crew chief of the 18) he then thanks Pro Racing! I mean come on –think of it this way-I clean the tires, I’m the tire specialist, he won because of the great tires he then in return- doesn’t thank me- yet with out my extremely clean tires he wouldn’t have won!!!!!!! Do you see anything wrong with this picture??????J Well I do and I do not like it!!!!!!

Well let’s just move on- the next thing that happened was in my dad’s main. All was going well until on lap5 Ricks tire flew off his silver kart like a flock of birds flying away from hunters. Then during Cody’s main Paul French spun out and accidentally hit Cody’s rim so all of Cody’s air in his tire came out- in other words, Cody got a flat!! So at the end of the night my dad finished first and Cody finished last (1st and 8th)

Yesterday’s race was quite extraordinary because my dad actually won his first race! Before my dads race was Cody’s race. Even though Cody’s race wasn’t as well. Well I guess I should say that his race was awesome when he was in first but then every thing started going wrong. First Tye Mihoko passed Cody then Cody bumped Tye then Cody bumped Tye again then finally Cody hit Tye sooooo hard that for about ten seconds Cody’s nose was on Tye’s bumper-literally!!!! And while Cody was bumping Tye he kept on getting the rolled black flag but yet Cody still didn’t stop! Then Tye started in front and Cody got put to the back because thanks to Cody there was a caution. Finally the race was over and it was just about time for my dad’s race. Sooo my dad’s race was way cooler. Because my dad won both heat races he started on the pole. Which totally rocks because then on like the first lap Rick and my dad just totally pulled away which was also really cool. In the end my dad won!!!!! And even cooler he did a doughnut afterwards!!!! Then one division after my dad went out and won I got to drive Cody’s kart on the track and the way I can explain this is in one word- AWESOME!! That word also just about sums up the word that the race was-Awesome!!

September 9, 2006
The last race very different from all the others only because it was pretty much two races in one LONG night. In the last race the lights went out during the mains so today’s race we had to do all of the last races mains then by the time it was just about ten we had to-do all of yesterdays race and trust me IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL!!!!!!! And on top off the whole thing it was as humid as humid can be (and that is SUPER humid) hopefully the next race will be better. My dad did really good and got 2nd and Cody did pretty good too. I know that the race will be at least a little better because after the races are over I get to drive around in Cody’s kart and if I love it enough then I get to race and even coooooooler is that I might even get to race in the jr.1rookie in phoenix. Even if yesterday was tiring it was still fun watching the night go by!

That race was absolutely, by far the funnest race so far this season. But the reason is because my grandpa and my aunts were there to root us on. So was my grandma. It could have their good luck charm or it was just us showing off because we worked as a great team and the drivers of the family did awesome! They came in 2nd and third. Cody’s main was awesome he almost beat Nick. And for a while Cody was even in front of him. It was like so totally awesome!!! And then their is my dads race. Which wasn’t cool at all instead it was the best!!! Sure my dad didn’t win but at least he will get to be on the podium!!!

June 30, 2006
Yesterdays race was the coolest because my dad and brother did great. My dad got in 2nd and my brother got in 2nd, which is why the race was awesome. But even more awesome is there was really nothing out of the ordinary.

May 27, 2006
Saturday’s race was very interesting. I say this because in one of Cody’s races the number 99 pushed my brother out of the way just so he could be in third place! Watching this just made me mad so I decided to go have a little talk with Lucas (number 99) after the race. So I go up to the guy and I ask him why he was pushing Cody around on the track and he was all like, “because I wanted to be in third.” So I said, “well don’t do it again,” and then he was all like, “what, I’m just doing what my dad told me to do.” So I said, “well your dad is wrong!” He then said, “Hay, my dad used to race,” and then I was all like, “race what, bumper cars?” So then he was all like, “NOOO!!”. I’m telling you I was ticked off!!!! But then not a minute later he came up to our trailer and my dad was all like, “Do you have anything to say?” and Lucas just said, “I’m just here to play with my friend (my little brother Tyler-NOT Cody).” Then my dad said, “Ohhhh, he is not your friend okay! We’re very tired of you spinning his brother out.” And little Lucas ran off to his dad. Wow Saturday was a very strange day!!!!!

May 13, 2006
Saturday’s race was strangely different than most of the races we attended! The difference was that this time, Cody’s was the race that is really stuck in my mind. Just because I was the one who got ticked off, and it was me that stuck up for the boy, who at times can really tick people off, (most of the times those people are me!). What I mean is that I walked up to one of the people who pretty much spun Cody out just to pass him. I can’t name anyone but I can tell you he is number 99. So I walked up to the boy who I can not name and I asked him a couple questions while getting even angrier in the process! So I asked him why he rammed my brother in the bumper just to pass him. His reply was, “because I wanted to be in third.” So I said, well you know it is just a heat race and he was all like, well still like you said, it was a heat RACE! So I said bumping people just shows that you are theeee dirtiest driver out there. I then turned around and left trying to make him feel guilty so he wouldn’t do it again! The funny part was in the main that kid spun himself out and was way behind Cody.

April 14, 2006
Yesterday was a great race; too bad I was asleep half the time! Yeah, so what if I dozed off a couple of times. But I was awake for the heat races and hot laps!! Although I did fall asleep during the mains. But thankfully I got help from my brother, Cody I asked him what place my dad got in and at first I didn’t think he would tell me so I asked him again what place he got in and when he told me that my dad got in second I wanted to scream but I couldn’t because my throat hurt. So instead I was all like, yessss!!!! Then once again I fall asleep on Cody’s race and I ran over to my daddy and I asked him, what place did Cody come in and he said , well weren’t you watching the race, and so I was all like, well I was but then I kinda, sorta fell asleep!!! After the race we went to the Triple T when we got in we saw big and little Rick. The reason this is a big deal is because they are both really nice and I like talking to them. When they were done eating I said bye to big Rick then I think he didn’t hear me because he didn’t wave back but instead cute Rick waved to me!!!!!!!!!

April 8, 2006
Yesterday was an up and down day if you know what I mean! If you ask me I think that both my dad and my brother did good. Wellllll, my dad did good in the mains and my brother did good in the heat races. What I mean is in the heat races my dad got in 3rd place and my brother, for the first time in Phoenix he got in first! But the mains, actually I can’t describe the mains. But only because it was like ten-thirty P.M.!!!! Although I did get to know what place every one got in. I’m pretty sure that Cody got in sixth or seventh but I am positive that my dad got in third! I was so exited when I found out that my dad got in third. But I was kind of sad that my own dad couldn’t see me, even with my pitch black jacket over my body and me leaning on the black tires, okay I admit it, it was also really dark out side. But that is okay since he thought that I was with my mom when I wasn’t but is kind of funny because when he saw that I was in the trailer he was completely fine. Oh yeah, one of these days I’ll be able to stay up for a whole night race.

March 31, 2006
Friday was a very long night. I fell asleep and missed one race. I was awakened by my dad asking me to help Cody and him to lift the kart. Even though I didn’t want to I still did because they needed my help so I got up very lazyish, I stretched them I finally walked over to him and amazingly I lifted the kart better than Cody. Well that was my dad’s heat race. So there Cody is on the track and as the green flag dropped I was expecting him to fall into dead last but instead as soon as he saw the green flag he floored it and he had the lead. I can’t even imagine how he felt when no one was ahead of him when the checkered flag dropped and he crossed the finish line. Sure it was just a heat race but what makes it important is that this is the first time he has ever won a heat race unlike the trophy dashes. Although Cody’s heat races were good his mains still could have been better. In Cody’s heat he got in 1st, as if no instead of getting in 1st he got in 6th since some of the retarded lapped karts spun Cody out. If it weren’t for those lapped karts, who knows Cody might have gotten in at least the top five. My dad got 3rd in all of his races. That was our weird, annoyed race day.

March 25, 2006
Yesterday was so cool!! Cody won another Trophy Dash! In the hot laps and heat races these jerks kept on pushing around my dad, I was getting soooo ticked. But then after the bad news in the heats and hot’s (practice), there was good news coming from my dad. In the main my dad came in second. It was really awesome!!! I am so proud of my dad, the first thing I saw was my dad in the middle of every one, and I look again and almost every one behind him spun out except for Rick (the leader) of course. So when the white flag was out my dad was in second. My mom and I were practically screaming when we saw my dad crossing the finish line behind Rick with the checkered flag out. Yesterday was the coolest race of this season!!!!!!

March 19, 2006
Saturday was the coolest day ever. I seriously mean it, it was freezing cold. But it was also really awesome because my dad was the only one to race and he came in first. I had a ton of fun. Even better I only have to clean four tires! And I only have to wash one chassis and one body how cool is that? Although my dad did win it was freezing. My hands were so freezing I couldn’t even unplug two cords, that’s how freezing it was. Cold but awesome was Saturday.

March 5, 2006
It was horrible! Cody was on the race track just racing and BOOM there’s a wreak, so there Cody is asking the flag man if he should kill his engine because the ambulance is on the track, but no instead the flag man is telling Cody to continue driving. Thankfully Cody saw the ambulance or Cody would have gotten ran over. Thankfully though Cody did see the ambulance instead the ambulance ran over Cody’s rear right tire. So yes 3/5/06 was a very creepy day.

February 25, 2006
February 25 was a long day. When we finally got on the road to Phoenix I fell asleep since I woke up at 5:30!!! When I woke up we were at a gas station and my dad (Jeff) asked my brother (Cody) and I if we wanted anything and I got a Dr. Pepper and I’m guessing my dad was really tired too because he himself gave me caffeine in the morning and that had annoyance written all over it!!!
Once we got to the track Cody unlocked the trailer and I started unloading it by un-doing the straps and with it being really cold outside my fingers could be explained in two words and those words would be, major pain. By the time the go-kart’s were un-loaded it was decently warm outside, well at least warm enough to take my jacket off.
Oh, finally it was the heat races and I was able to finally get away from the trailer. That trailer, it seems oh so big but when you’re stuck with it for at least 2 hours straight it goes from huge to puny!!! So yea I was really glad when it was the heat races, until my dad wreaked of course!!!!! Yes it is sadly true that my dad did wreak. Well this is what happened…. My dad was doing his oh so regular race when he was all of a sudden really loose (loose is when it is kind of hard to control the kart). So when I noticed him getting loose I ran on up to the fence but my dad and my dad’s kart would have pretty much okay- but then the next thing I know the #12 (not my brother but somebody else) rammed right into my dad’s kart. If the #12 didn’t run into my dad then he would have only had scratches on the nose but nooooo the 12 just had to run into the #30 and so because he did the 30 has a broken side panel, a broken tail pipe and his chain guard is totally bent to the side!! And even worse my dad has a scratch about 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide on his back, right shoulder blade!!!!!! So my dad wasn’t able to do the mains. Thankfully Cody didn’t spin out during the main in fact Cody came it fifth! So February 25 was quite a long day full of mixed emotions. Then we went to In-and-Out Burger & I got a shake & fries! My favorite kind of meal!
